The big difference between CBD and CBG is that the former binds, even if minimally and considered negligible, to THC while the latter gives results having THC free: n.a. (not detected).

CBG is able to interact with both CB1 and CB2 receptors but they have a different behavior. CBG exhibits an affinity to both receptors while CBD does not bind to cannabinoid receptors but is capable of influencing the Cannabinoid System.

Light Cannabis is the generic name with which we commonly refer to cannabis varieties in which the quantity of the active ingredient delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (thc) is low or insignificant.

For this reason, light cannabis is considered legal in some states where cannabis with high levels of thc is still illegal.
